Top Barn Activity Centre Link
Top Barn have now taken over ownership and management of the Lake and surrounding land to form a rural pursuits activity centre.
Site open six days a week, Closed Sundays.
A wide variety of events and activities, including watersports are being organised on the Top Barn site.
Customers will still be able to access the lake for Windsurfing, Kayaking and Sailing with their own equipment and "test Joel Watersports demo fleet" of kayaks and canoes.
Joel Enterprises History.
Joel Enterprises was started some thirty years ago by Peter Elliott and Tony Jones and for a time manufactured glass fibre kayaks.
The shop was relocated (May 2005) from its Holt Fleet Site, which many will remember, to the Hydro Extreme Action Sport Centre on the A443 Hallow Road where it has increased shop floor area and access to a 10 Acre lake giving potential customers the opportunity to try before they buy.
How to Find Us
Leave the Motorway at Junction 6 (The North Worcester Junction)
Take the A449 Kidderminster and Tenbury Wells road. Slip left following the signs for Ombersley.
Turn left at the roundabout in Ombersley on to the A4133 which climbs gradually for about a mile before making a steep descent down "Dough Bank" towards the River Severn.
Joel Enterprises old shop is situated on the right hand side of the road immediately past the Spar Shop and before the Bridge however you now continue over the river bridge and up the hill towards Holt Heath.
At the mini-roundabout turn left, signed "A443, Worcester" and left again at the "T" junction opposite the "Premier Cottage Stores".
Look out for the Top Barn signs approx half a mile down this road. Turn left and follow the signs for the "Top Barn Activity Centre"
